Noce looking bike but that's like going from impulse to warp speed(Star Trek if your too young). I see what you are saying about a motorcycle license, if you got a 150cc, you would be able to got 55mph consistently and venture further. Although it sounds like you live in an area that a 150 would be more at risk.
Keep the 50 and enjoy the ride. As I always say, It's more about the journey than the destination.

You know, if you get something bigger than a 50cc, you might venture out a few more blocks!

I have an older sister that lives in Davie and my younger sister lives in Pompano. My older sisters wedding reception was at the Intercoastal Hotel in south Miami. I also have an aunt that lives in Merritt Island near Cocoa. Not visiting them this year but did a few years back. We vacationed in ST. Pete a few years ago and it is one of my favorite Fla. beaches. TONS of scoots all over the place there also.

Can you do something like this? Realistically, these would need to be printed and then contour cut, and I don't have one of those machines. Otherwise it would be a lot of work to get it right. Could these be printed and I would cut them out by hand?

Not too difficult. Pinstripe can be bought at any auto parts store. Decide where and how you want to stripe, put the tape past where you want it to start and end. There is an adhesive backing so the paper must be removed. Stick it where you want to start and do about i foot sections at a time looking down the line you want to follow. I hold it with my right hand and rub the pinstripe down with the left as it is lined up. There is also a clear top protective coating that must be pulled off when it is in place. To make sharp bends, you have to pull the pinstripe off the protective coating and lay it down one stripe at a time. To trim the stripe, lay a sharp razor against the pinstripe and pull it back against the razor and it will trim it perfect with a clean edge.
That's about the best description I can give. I should have taken pictures as I was doing it but alas, I did not.
