So... How about this one? Somebody decided to part with it after all. Unfortunately, this is not the exact one. Same year though... $200 anyone? MINE! Hey! Wash your hands before you touch my bike...

It's not Gubments job to be bailin' ANYbody out.
I came up with my own formula to decide if a bike is over priced.
Divide total cost by the CC's of the bike. After you do a few of these, you find that a fair price is around 10 to 15. Less is better, more is robbery.

Yep. Air leaks and it can't get enough fuel.

If the fuse is good, then you need to look at the ignition itself. They can go bad. I had to replace mine.

I'm going to give it one more chance before I set fire to it. I'll go to Wally world and get me a small bottle of Methyl Hydrate and clean the life right out of it. This stuff is made to cut varnish and shellac so it should rip right thru any crud in the carb. I'm praying my tank doesn't have crud in it. I SO don't feel like taking ALL the plastics off just to get to the gas tank. That would really suck major monkey meat. And I'm going to put a new coil on it. The one it has is just not testing within spec. But then the specs I have are from the Honda Helix. Anyone have specs on the coil the 250's come with?

Yep. Time for a new clutch. Check out the moving ads at the top of the page. Most of them will have what you need. I've personally done business with BPNW and Absolutely Scooters. Both are good.

Went and checked out the Honda this morning. Man... I had to leave or I might have sold my kids right then for it. It's a sweet ride. I think I'm gonna have to get one. Now I just need to find a decent fairing for it. They only make red ones. Bleh.

Either way, I have to spend some $$ on paint. I hate red and I prefer not to have an all black ride. Turn all the red into a nice neon blue.
Yep. Except for the tranny, I think I could handle the rest of it. I wonder if Honda has a class I can take to work on that tranny. They probably want a million bucks for me to take it though.

Your idle depends on the springs you have in your clutch. Some are 2000 some are 1500.. Strong spring and weights that are too light could do it.

I was Moe. He was Larry and one of my other brothers was Shemp. We never really had a Curly. Too bad, I loved his laugh. Hyuck hyuck.
He sprained his back and was laid up for a week but the far worse injury was his pride. He couldn't figure out why it didn't work.

As long as the engine is over the threshold RPM the clutch is engaged. When it idles down to below say 2000 RPM for example, the clutch lets go and the bike can then freewheel.

Well, when Rich or Alley forget their meds, then they get sluggish. So, check the gas and the tank. Make sure it's not blocked with crud.
