What method did you use to remove the variator nut? I have seen some methods actually warp the drive fave and that will cause your problem!

I dont waive because I refuse to ride one handed. These scoots are not steady at cruising speeds one handed.

SOme people dont realize new plugs have a crush washer that needs to be seated initially.

Heres what i did...I took off all the c clips as well as the springs on the arms and wiggled them all off. Man were they tight! Could be that one was sticking and or from using the strap wrench it pulled them all in extremely tight so they were not moving evenly. I saw some crud on the posts where the arms slide onto and i sanded them smooth. I put the arms back on and they went on much easier and moved in and out much more freely. I then put the springs back on and installed it. Went for a ride and problem solved

All i did was take it off the scooter, remove the contra by using the oil wrench and vise trick, swapping for another stock spring, remove sheave and lube that area, lubed the inner bearings and put it back together. Now it has a rhythmic vibration. So i took it back off and took it all apart again and put the old spring back in and it still does it.
I think Ill have to order a brand new one again. I think once you take these clutches apart its over. They are never the same.
was looking at the pivot plates as a possibility. I used a rubber strap wrench and it puts a lot of pressure on certain points. What cane be do to repair that? I removed the 3 springs and the arms all seem to swing out but they are stiff. Perhaps 2 are grabbing and one is not causing a balance issue?
