China is nowhere near where we landed. Besides maybe they will publish the pictures of the structures on the moon that Buzz Aldrin spoke of that we have been hiding.

What about the inside of the cover? Looks like the top of the belt is rubbing somewhere.

No. I think theres a bit too much play in the boss variator contact. Elcheapo part I got off ebay for 25 bucks. Should have known better. DLH brand...so much for German manufacturing on these scooter parts.
I put my original back on and is quieter. RPMS are lower and gets about the same performance 0-30 so Im beginning to wonder why these things are so popular? Maybe i just didnt get a good one. MAybe ill try a DP or a Kosso performance variator thats made a little better but my butt dyno tells me its almost the same between running 7500-8000 rpm as it is running stock between 6800-7500..maybe i think necause its louder and vibrating at 8000 it seems faster lol

250s are bloated touring bikes and have no appeal to me. The HELIX ruined me for life when i saw them
Lord knows who makes all this stuff regardless of who sells it. I get a plain part in a plain box with no names on anything???

Im beginning to think any aftermarket items for these scooters are almost as bad as the quality of the scoots 10 years ago. Too many knockoffs and poor quality. Ill just put the stock one back on and buy a 150 next time!

I found that most of what was collecting was combustion byproduct (moisture) and didnt really want it going back in.

I have since reversed the position and have the single drain pointing down and the others going to the valve cover and the breather which is open.

Ive noticed a smoother transition in RPMS with a performance variator. A more consistant climb in the increase.
I tried 5gr sliders and the low to mid range rpms were mid 6s starting out to 7200 or so in the mid range. Seemed a little low and seemed to lack the power im used to. Changed to some 4gr Dr pulley sliders and I feel like the acceleration is perfect and pulls nice from the get go up to 40. My only concern is that at 40 plus im running 8000-8200 rpms but the acceleration from stop to top speed is great and rpms are in the low to mid 7000's up to about 30 mph then climb up from there towards 8000. I run full synthetic to try and get the most life from the motor as well.
Also why does a Znen made motor state max HP is at 8000 (BN139qmb) where a standard stamped 139QMB is rated top HP at 7500??? Everywhere i look for BN139QMB info lists it this way.
Here is a typical description:
Description: 1)Diameter of cylinder and distance: 39 x 41.5mm 2)Maximum power and relative rotation speed: 2.0kW/8,000rpm 3)Brand of crankcase lube: 10W-40 4)N.W:21kg5)displacement:49.6ml6)Brand of gear-box lube: SAE-90 7)Maximum torsion distance and relative rotation speed: 2.8Nm/6,000rpm
