thank you so much, you've been a great help. Do other chinese scoots not have this carb controller? What do they have instead, or do they just have power going straight to the auto enricher?

I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my flyscooters la vie, the auto enricher is not working, and I'm not getting power to it. The power wires come from a little black box mounted to the frame that says xdz 080704. It is not the cdi, I know what that looks like and where that is. And I believe it is not the regulator/rectifier, I think that is mounted up front by the ignition switch. There is no voltage coming from out of this little box to the choke, I do have voltage to it when the scoot is running. anyone have any info about this?
