How many people have these outlets on there scooters? Do they find them handy? I hear you can plug in a GPS, cell phone, run an extra light, a fan.... It runs of 12 volts and output is 120 watts. They make these outlets for motorcycles, cars, trucks, tracters,..

Fan still works. Just put in a heat sensor and fan still does not come on. If added a toggle switch would simply cut wire that connect to fan, connect fan to toggle switch, and run wires to battery. While running cool, the toggle switch would not be needed, but when hotter out the temp on heat gauge reached 75%, well could flip fan on on off. Any suggestions?

Mine started acting strange and a weird vibration too. I ordered a new clutch and variator. Runs good now. Now I noticed what it was causing mine to shake. The clutch spring would open when going fast, but when stopped the spring held the belt still, half way down. This would create a bad shuddering and feel like the scooter was about to fall apart. The belt should come back all the way out on the clutch pulley when stopped. The clutch is new but the variator may be loose or to tight, causing a similar problem. May need roller weights. My scooter still acted this way after replacing clutch and variator. The clutch was on tight and so I left it alone. But took of new variator and noticed it missed the teeth on crank shaft. Did not damage the crank shaft but done minor damage to fvariator fan. Still put back on and now belt is in correct place and engine excellerates great.

Well, ordered a new clutch, variator, and heat sensor today, for my scooter, from Scrappy Dog. It was the clutch for a cn250, which the Bali 250 has in it. I also ordered a impact wrench for $62 from Amazon. Need a impact wrench anyhow, to change our tires on other vehicles.

Does size matter? Like can I increase speed with more grams?

I own a Bali 250 - same as 172mm engine, cn250, same as cf250. Cañ I order the same size roller weights as the Honda Helix. For $19 I can order some size 17 grams that fits cn250. Or Dr Pulleys 20 grams for $34 that fits the cn250. Both are nylon, but the $34 rollers are not round.

The paint job you done, turned out nice. I thought of tearing down the scoot to get the frame tôo, but it is a lot of work and the body covers it up. The paint I used is durable and still not expensive. Found it in the automotive section of Walmart.

Yes, it was not the fan... LOL.. Needs a new heat sensor. About a $10 item. Paint the crank cover and the exhaust the other day, with heat temperature paint. It just makes it look nicer. The paint was made to paint engines and good up to 500 degrees. I don't think the exhaust gets that hot, but if so, I will buy the type of paint they spray grills with.

My Bali 250 is still running, but now is in need of work. It needs $180 in new parts. I noticed the fan no longer worked after yesterday. Need a new belt, roller weights, and clutch. It is just as simple to order a new clutch assembly as to order parts. All the parts don't come to that much. First major issues with the scooter, in about 7 years. Horn button fell off a few weeks ago, the speedo cover is now falling apart. Still starts and runs. Never over heated the engine when fan stopped working due to it stopped at home.

The towns here in Missouri are small and spreaded out, to locate a scooter club in certian areas. I ride alone most of the time. Bought my wife a Honda Rebel, so she can ride with me. She does sometimes. Scooters are not as common around here, as the great Harley Davidson. So I still ride alone, 95% of the time. So when you are scooting, think of me, the lone scooterist. Hi ho scooter away.

Well the weather is changing for the better. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for Missouri are in the 40s and 50s. Hopefully we are on a trend toward warmer weather. Winter is still here, but weather in the 40s for a high temperature and lows in the 20s and 30s is better than 0. I am writing on a ipad still, but am using the mouse verses the keyboard. The keyboard sticks and make letters appear clumped together. The mouse is much easier. It is a Chinese ipad, so the manual is a useful as the scooter manual. LOL... The only thing I can not figure out is how to place a photo over the web. Figured out how to take a photo of the page I am looking at and how to turn it into wallpaper. But will figure out this contraption eventually.

Yes, I done a test on computer to see what it was. Hard Drive failed the test. It flashed the Compaq logo, and immediately says Push control Alt Delete to open-- I press it-- the Compaq logo appears again- than the screen says again- Press control Alt Delete to open. Repeats the same message. I went into pressing esc button repeatedly and fast- a SCREEN appear from Microsoft telling me to run test. Memory actually was ok.. Hard Drive failed twice.
Searched a few sites on wifes computer. One place had the hard drive for $60.. So I was thinking $60 isn't bad, but than I read more about it. It does not come with Windows- that one must download from another disc. I found the disc for about $14.00 to renew my computer to factory specs. My computer is a Compaq Presario CQ56.. So roughly $75 to repair it like new. Now, some were wondering about data stored on my computer- good news- I don't use the computer in that way. I am the type that likes shopping for good deals, visit scooter forums, and take photos. I was not out anything valuable.
I did make a recovery disc, but moving around so often, I could not tell anyone where it is. Moved 4 times in a little over 12 months.
And there is always another way. Could switch from a 7 inch ipad to a 10 inch ipad. More memory but still confusing as can be about trying to type anything correctly. Could buy a notebook, but they cost as much as a computer. The 10 inch ipad one can get as little as $120.
