That scooter in the picture looks like a good parts scooter but anything is possible with time and money. Good luck that scooter looks like it needs a lot of attention.

Dave is right on use a little sand paper on them and possibly a little brake cleaner if handy not nesary though. Your front brakes should be a majority of the stopping.

Looks good kz I also have a milk crate on my bike I don't care if other people think it's funny at least we can say we did them a favor and made them laugh. I seen another picture of your bike at a gas station and swore it looked like you had a tote on it. You would be able to carry much more with it if it was true.
Have fun riding kz wish we were closer I would ride with you.

Looks like you found the problem. I think if you ride it for a while it will stop but you might want to send the rotor back to who you bought it from and try a new one. Good thinking with the marker. Keep us posted looks like a great scooter.

Sorry you had that experience ator So if I got it right you didn't get the oil with your bike? That is expensive oil I bought yama lube for my scooter and it was 14 dollars a quart if that makes you feel any better. I guess its a good oil and synthetic 20 50.
Hope you at least get your scooter put together not sure if it's assembled or not. Hope you get to like it once starting to ride it. Keep us posted This is good information to know about customer service it might help someone in going another direction in buying a scooter.

I agree I would take of that caliper again and check the pads up close. The only time I noticed it was when the bike was at a stand still. Keep us posted I think it might not be anything to worry about might just be breaking in. But with that said seems like the rotor is bent a slight amount. Mabey call how you bought it from and ask them?

I would say a 8 dollar quart of a synthetic oil would work good for you. Clean oil.

I would leave it black due to I am cheap and looks to be in great shape. But if your budget allows it and you like it don't let people stop you.

Luke I guess I wouldn't be able to ride in a group I have a milk crate on my scooter also. I think kz has a tote not a milk crate. I would think he is riding now the weather is getting real nice.

I've been pretty lucky with not having any bloopers. The only thing is the milk craight on the back is kinda imbarising get a lot of complements. Also I park one time at right aid and my kick stand spring brock so I rode it to a new destination with foot hanging off the bike.
That was a 3 dollar fix and easier to do than I though put it of for months. My bike kill the engine when you put down the kick stand so it took a minite or five to figure it out.

All the advice I've seen so far seems right on. Possibly use a power washer on the front caliper it might get the particle unstuck and work better. Other than that I would take kz advice and just take of the two bolts and look at it.
Good luck and keep us posted.
