Could be the variator rollers weights or glide keys shaking around, how many miles do you have on it? Btw watch this video, this is video of my scooter before I replaced my variator. Now it doesn't clink. 1drv.ms/1qN80UY

I just hold the wheel and torque it till it it feels secure enough, but might be 73-95 ft-lbs just go 60-75ft lbs

Make sure you torque the "NUT" on the wheel back accordingly so it does not fly off when you put it back on, it comes loose easily.

Yeh just ordered a 20$ new set.... don't have time to sand down the ramp or a dremel , Hopefully it will roll now LOL Just wasted like 20$ on sliders.

Don't laugh LOL.... Should I just buy a new variator if the place where the rollers have marks in the metal like a big line cut into it? Could it cause it to click? 1drv.ms/1qN80UY Here is a video of the sound.

Can you accidently torq the fan on the belt to tight>?? and I have lines in the rolling part where the weights go looks like metal.

Looks like I might just need that machine bushing on the back of the ramp plate because my old ramp plate does not have a heat mark on the back of it like this new one.
