Did you check the muffler of the exhaust to see if it is broke inside or still intact?

Have you changed any parts from the last time it started? Besides the carb and fuel line.

You could call the SSR dealer and ask for a picture of the body panels and make sure they match the spacing of the other panels. Just say you are looking for panels and want to see a picture and see if they match the other ones. I got a picture of me petting a baby squirrel too. i1063.photobucket.com/albums/t519/Adam_Hoyer/IMAG_0025.jpg your's might be a sugar glider though.

Are you sure you got the right CDI? I put one on my scooter that was AC just like the other one and my scooter would not fire up. Maybe try and put the old one back on a see if it fires up.

Well I originally thought my lights were dim because of the stator lol .I think though one of the sections of the big bulbs went out. Think its called a fillamint? Has two functions bright and low, the low function. So I should of changed the big bulbs first before I even spent money on stators.... Everything works fine when the engine is fired, the lights turn on when the engine is fired and no brake lever is needed to make the lights turn on.
