Malfunctioning alarm wouldn't have anything to do with this? Don't see how it would but my remote start quit working around same time I started having issues or a round about time

I've even wired led strip lights in side the brake housing to get rid of the regular auto bulbs. Figured the less draw the better I was.

It's how I got it. Its spliced up in the front for some reason. I've had the scooter up and running before and had voltage doing fine and then all the sudden I start having problems.

What yellow to green and white to green ? John Yes I probed yellow to ground got no voltage. White to ground no voltage. All this is tested on the stator side of the plug at those wires. Only voltage I get is probing between yellow and white at the plug.

My lights are wired up to my battery using a swing so that explains why my lights work when my key is turned to the on position and not running.

Leave the stator unpluged , do a running acv test . Yellow to white , yellow to green/ground , white to green/ground . At idle and at 4000 rpm . John Ok leaving stator plug unplugged. Running. Ac voltage test. Yellow to white idle 33.5-34.9 rev don't have a rpm gauge it rises Rapidly with increased rpms I seen it as hi as 70 without getting into throttle much. Now yellow to frame/battery no voltage. Same on the white to frame or ground post. I tried both frame and battery post with no luck either way

Ok so what I get is you suspect a bad ground? Cause that was still a little over my head. So the meter no moving from it's resting state and me proving white to green and yellow to green would mean what? Yes my lights come on I've got my battery on a charger. I can start the bike and drive it but after a 20 minute drive or do if you turn the bike off it's dead. Also once it gets to low. I lose all lights headlights brake lights turn signals. I can put probes on battery terminals and get no voltage increase even with bike at full rev

Ok yellow to white is this And when I say no reading I mean the screen doesn't change what so ever. Here again is a picture of the meter turned to 200 ohms and this is with nothing touching the probes. And the same above picture is what you see when you test white to green and yellow to green. So it's no reading I'd say

Meter set to same setting as above on stator side. White to green no reading. Yellow to green no reading. Green to body 1.3. Bike side same readings.

Meter set to 200 ohm nothing touching probes Picture of ballast 5w 5ohm. Red probe touched right were the 5w 5ohm imprint is. Black probe to frame of scooter. No keys in bike. Highest I saw was 1.9.

This is the meter in the position I was told to put it on. How do I test the ballast or whatever up by the r/r? I'd love to figure this out.
