Hard to say, it all depends on the motor and the controller. On some you can slap in bigger batteries for faster speeds and more power. Google for your E-Bike and see if they have options on the battery sizes for the same controller and motor. Some if you up the battery power you need a different motor and controller and on some it is just an upgrade.
Put up the type of E-Bike you have and maybe we can help with the search if it is ok to slap in bigger battery(S). Alleyoop

I just googled for the E-Bikes and all use 36-38v batteries the motors are 250-450 watts. So I would get the 36v so that you do not burn out anything with to much draw. Alleyoop

Which kit did you get? that will tell the story, from the looks of it that looks like a 500 watt hub on the front wheel. If so it may take the 48v battery. They have both 500watt motor with 36v battery and a 500watt motor with a 48v battery. I would call a dealer and pretend you are buying one and ask about the 500watt one and ask if later you can buy the 48v pack if you find that the 36v pack is not good enough for you Alleyoop P.S, I just emailed a dealer that sells the E-Bike 36v and asked if I found the 36v was not sufficient for me Could I just replace the Battery Pack with the 48v pack and they said no, different controller and charger. So your stuck with the 36v pack.

That is a complete different drive unit. you have to replace your current sprocket setup. That is much harder to set up if you ask me than just replace a wheel either front or rear with a hub motor. What are you looking for more speed and power or what is your use. Reason I ask is I am familiar with them my brother in law First got the 450watt motor and is was slow with not much power up to maybe 15mph. He now has a Phoenix Brute front hub that can do almost 40mph. here is the site they are in the U.S.A www.electricrider.com/crystalyte/e
