Kind of a moot point John. I've been there, start with a small drill bit and drill through the center of the mess. Then go to a slightly bigger size. Keep working up and eventually the remnants inside the threads will fall apart. Be careful and stay off of the threads. But first, if you can get any hold on the bolt try heating on the rotor but stay away from the bolt. If you catch it before the heat gets to the bolt it may release. It's tricky. Rich

Bashan is giving you good advice. But you are right sometimes it's nesary to have someone else fix stuff. That's a bummer If you have a torch I would at least give it a try you might get lucky and get bolt to come out.

yup thats probably your only choice now.
those extractors are so hard nothing will drill into em. see if the machine shop will rethread it if they ruin the ones that are there

There is just not much hope to be able to drill thru an extractor, I believe they are a lot harder than most drill bits. There are ways to get around that. One way is to grind out taking a larger area then plugging the bigger hole and drill/tap. (Machine tools and shop)

Depending on how stuck the bolt is, this may give you enough bite to extract it. I've been successful with them in the past.
