SO Im looking at the Thunder and trying to gauge its size. Compared to my BMS its pretty darn close on paper. Im conserned because my T3 was too small for me but the measurement they list for the T3 dont make sense if my BMS that i now have is much bulkier all around. I measured my BMS and have no idea hoy they get these lengths, widths and heights. My measurements were all shorter than specs list. For example the width is listed as 27in but my measurement accross the front faring is 21 and even if I measure the widest point from end to end of the handlebars its only 23in. So im confused.


Favor from Thunder owners....can you measure the width at the widest part of the front faring, total length and handle bar height? Thanks!!

I was reading a news story once and a guy commented "this must be true because it was in print.". Ah ha...ha ha....HA HA HAAH HAAAH!!! Foolish Earthling! It's a free country and people can say and print about what they want. So I don't believe much of these stats you read on bikes. The Chinese could easily make them up. How are you going to dispute them? You can't! And don't dispute that, you can't, because I just put it in print! I saw a hyperbolic 250 ad recently that said the engine was 400 HP due to the new CV carb technology (carbio-ventricular). OK, that one is probably true but beyond that it's hyperbowlie, which IS actually a new carb technology. My point is I forgot the point of my screed. So who measures these things? Not guys that's for sure, they keep telling women one finger length is one foot! C'mon...that's just a bad anatomy lesson! And bad math....that's what caused the financial crash of 2008! See it all comes around....the small fingered Republicans caused the world financial disaster that ruined my retirement! Thank you tiny finger duck Cheney! Thought I was just ranting again didn't you guys? Maybe now you see! What Sue? Just talking to the guys! No...I'm not yelling..we're discussing.....I....gotta go guys...shhh....

On length, wheel base is the one you want to look at. Short as in 54" is usually better for small scooters as they shine in city traffic. A longer wheel base is better if you are out on a highway running 55 and over all the time. Total length is only important if you are trying to stuff it in a box!
