Murphy seems to be having more fun with this bike than I am. So I fix all these damn throttle starting problems and now the tire goes flat. luckily my friend was following me and saw me pull over took me to the Walmart and got a bottle of fix a flat.upon filling the tire with fix a flat I notice that it was coming out of the valve stem.I will be riding around with fix a flat in my bike for a while but I wanted to know does anybody know how to fix the valve stem without breaking the bead?

can't be done. But...it is easy to replace the valve stem, have seen videos of doing it while tire is still on bike/
a valve core if thats where its leaking is easy, just take tool and unscrew core and pop in a new one, tighten and your done.
Where they usually break is on the sides where rubber is bonded to metal. Replace with an all metal one and problem gone for ever./

Well first I'd put the valve stem tool down in there and try to tighten the valve. Don't crank it down too tight just snug it up.

I had one split right up the mold line. I was crusing right along and I heard a gunshot. I knew something was up so I pulled over and the valve was split right in two. I happened to be next to the Honda dealer, so I walked it over to them and it cost me $60 to have it replaced. Do it yourself now and save later!
