Bashan cyborg Hi got some maybe wrong info off you tube just wanted to check with you guys and make sure.in the vidio this guy said I could not put more than a a9 cam in the 1p head is this guy full of it or does he know somthing we all over looked? he said because of the cam height it would retard the timing and there would be clearance problems I don't want to second guess anyone just want to be sure.thanks

Counterintuitively, the cams with the higher numbers like A12 have less lift and more duration. So I don't see how you would have a piston to valve problem. The A12 is noted for low to mid-range enhancement. Just to make sure ask the seller if there is clearance issues. I used mine as part of a BBK upgrade so it was a kit made for all the parts to work together. Did you ask Walter? He would know for sure.

Bashan Hi do you know if Walter from unique scooter parts fallows this site often?.I have some more ?s about the A12 cam I visited his site but couldn't figure out how to contact him .I've dealt with him on ebay and used their communication system but that was when I was buying parts and not just seeking info.hope you can help.thanks
