I have a 2004 CFMoto Ejewel with the 150cc liquid cooled engine with electronic choke. The bike has never started with the auto choke on, I removed it to find out it was not working even connected straight to the battery..I then covered 2 of the 3 holes where the choke was and sprayed starting fluid into the 3rd top hole and once I then covered that hole while cranking it, it would start but not idle just hit higher rpms if I kept the throttle open. I guess mainly I am wondering where I can find another electric choke solenoid to fit this carb and all I can seem to find is ones for gY6 motors...will one of those fit? I realize it is probably better to get a manual choke conversion kit but I also want to use the automatic remote start...But if that isn't a valid option then I will go the manual choke route but also dont know which kit would work on this motor. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I would think a standard GY6 auto-choke would work on that engine but I'm not 100% certain. Luckily we have a very nice person as a member that is also a CF Moto dealer. He has a parts department and you just need to talk to their parts manager by phone, isn't that refreshing?! You can send Cookees a PM through the forum and you can contact his business through this link: HPS MOTORSPORTS. I hope this helps, Rich

It is not the engine you need to search on, it is the carb type, probably CV, however there are about 20 types all different
