so Mr . Sprocket did you get a ride today ? I passed by my friends shop today he has a place that he sends car rims out for repair . I was thinking about sending them the rim .

Sprocket you seem more machinest knolageable, would it be a hard job to fab a new spline and fit it in the rim ? What about getting the old spline out ?
Do you remember the link for kiehin carbs I ordered 2 of them , they came with the bowl drain at the end of the tube , I swaped the main jet and the bowl from the old it seems good. I went for a ride yesterday that 16" scooter is a little high off the floor for me , but it runs great . Aside from the rear brake and the crank vent hose its beed pretty good .

I don't know. Perhaps those splines are a standard item. It depends if the hub splines are cast into the aluminum wheel or force fitted and machined after...
Any large machine shop can make splines, but inside splines are a little more difficult. All they do is measure the shaft size and count the number of splines... and the depth...
It is actually called a splined hub...very common in automotive machining etc...

well lets see what scrappy dog comes up with , if they strike out , I will send the wheel to the auto rim repair place . Then to a machine shop .
