EXACTLY! I almost bought into the drain plug concept and then buk buk'd out. I just had a bad feeling, I'm not going to do it without a pump of some kind. What I'd really like to do is have an oil tank like most of the Harleys, more oil mass=less heat (I hope). Hey EARTHMAN, did you see this guys thread over in customs? If his engine is similar to yours maybe you could do something like that. Worth a look, Rich
