Yep, good reading KZ, thanks. In the first article they commented on mileage being a big factor on choosing a scooter. The big motorcycles have horrible mileage taking that off of the table for using them for transportation. There's many cars that easily get high 30s or even 40s and some of the bikes are in the 20s! Not to say riding any two wheeled vehicle isn't a blast. Rich

Not that I ever rode any bike for it mileage but my 88 yugo got better than the 86 goldwing I had at the same time and both were bought new so no one else messed with them. The suzuki bandit was the last motorcycle I owned and had a yoshi pipe and had been jetted, it got 28 mpg with me cranking on it most of the time. 3rd gear wheelys were probably why the tires never lasted long. Today my favorite scooter is a chinese 150.
