performance throttle anyone? By mself52 (Read 518 times)

Has anyone tried this product I'm really interested because my throttle to be wide open I have to fully turn it then reposition my hand to finish turning it which isn't that big of deal but when its cold at night and I wear gloves its irritating

If you have to fully turn it to get it to the WOT position then you have to much SLACK in the cable. To fully open the Butterfly it should only need to move oh about 1" or little over an inch.
You need to adjust your throttle cable to only have about 1/4 of an inch of play before it actually pulls on the wire cable inside.

that is too much $$$$ for what it gives you i agree with Alley with a proper adjusted cable you will never notice a def from take piece and stock

You usually have 2 places to adjust the the throttle cable, 1 by the handlbars and one by were it connects to the carb.

I will have to take a look... just ordered my gears 17x37, 42mm air filter, performance carb, orange cdi, high output coil, got my sliders, and the place close to me will put it all in including pressing the gears for 100$ can't wait

2 weeks from today I'm ordering my two bros carbon fiber exhaust and I'm done!
