Towing your bike up to Sturgis??? I'm looking to pay someone to throw my Morphous on their trailer and tow it up to Sturgis for me. I know there are professional services for that, but I'm just looking at my options and hoping to save some money while putting some in a fellow rider's pocket.

Lots and lots of those folks ride there. I was there by accident one year. We were driving our car and intending to tour Canada. I had planned to stay in Sturgis but when we got there I knew better. We did go a bit off the main street and then walked back so we could look at some very nice bikes. Then we drove off and about an hour north we found another small town with hotel and restaurant to use. I think we were on US 85 most of the time.
About three years ago I met a Navajo lady from the Farmington NM area that was going to ride her three wheeler, Harley I think, up to Sturgis. Then we moved from Colorado to Arizona so I don't know how her ride worked for her.
Fine place to visit but don't think I would want to live there. .

Don't know what you find provocative. If the guys and girls can ride a vibrating, shaking '49 harley with ape hangers, no rear suspension, a 1 gallon gas tank and no muffler for over a Thousand miles to get there you surely could ride your fine machine and go in style. ************************************************************************************************ Indian® Chief® Reveal Party Saturday, August 3rd Indian Motorcycle® invites you to be part of history by attending the Indian® Chief® Reveal Party on Saturday, August 3rd at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum on the corner of Junction Avenue and Main Street. I put another 90 miles on my Silver Wing today going to the VA at Bay Pines. I ride rain or shine, that is why I got it. I will say this if you ride daily as I do you are cleaning and polishing once a week. Mine is not for show, and I do love to ride. I am still going to make the trip to at least OK and AR this summer
Magoo = naughty
