The plastics on this used scooter were garbage, as I'm stripping the plastics I'm falling in love with the frame, I want to try and mount the seat with no plastics. Anyone got pics of a similar mod so I can get some better ideas? Will post pics when fully stripped and when I start modding. Edit: as title says. I'll post the pics tonight. I want to steam punk it but I want to keep it as a skeleton style frame. I love the look Note 3

Probably easier to see your pics first to see what might work. Ruckus seat frames are pretty easy to come by if you can mod one to work.

From my experience with my first scooter build, (http://www.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=customscootsmodsetc&action=display&thread=5515) I ended up working from the inside of the plastics out to the seat... however in your case (no plastics) I would position your seat where you want it and then work towards the frame. Just my 2 cents worth....

I would get with a welding shop if you do not weld. Should be an easy fix to make up a seat frame and install it over your motor. If you talk to them first and let them know what you need they may be able to get you going safely for a reasonable price. You just probably don't want to be going down the road and have a jurry rigged seat coming loose. I came close to doing that with my majesty. All that crap plastic would not be so bad if you could lift it off and get to the motor in 5 min.
I may sound over critical about that crap plastic but you have to realize I had a scooter in 1959 that was new, a 125cc with a twist and go transmission. I could lift the hood on that scooter all in one piece and instantly see the motor just like you can do today with the hood on your car. How would we all feel if we had to do the drill we do on a scooter every time you wanted to see you cars motor and maybe add some windshield washer juice? A majesty is about 1 1/2 hours worth of screwing around to remove that crap.
