Been having problems with my moped Running like crap, took the carb off and ended up stripping some screws, so now I need to buy a new carb.

Its a peace 50cc 5 stroke .


Also I have an oil leak that appears to be coming from valve cover( It started leaking profusely right after I took the valve cover off and put it back on. How expensive is a gasket?

The valve cover gaskets are cheap couple of bucks the carbs are cheap as well.

Bob, you can get a carb for about $39 or so. What screws did you strip?

Measure your Carb's inlet, it's prolly an 18mm, or 19mm...
You can also just rebuild yours. Heres a link to a repair kit

But you can get a new one fairly cheap... The ones on the same page listed above are a little pricey, but the rebuild kit isn't TOO BAD of a price...

I Think I'm just gonna rebuild the engine while I'm at it. Its been driven hard and put away wet and has over 4500 miles on it already. Ive outgrown the 50cc capabilities anyways
