Nobody says you're lying bud, we don't operate like that around here. Sometimes things come across a little different in the written word than in spoken. Here's the deal, Chinese speedos are notoriously inaccurate. Use a GPS to get a reading on your speed. You may be spot on, you may be off some. I know most of these guys are off some and I don't mean speedo wise. We just want you to have the right data with which to make decisions.
Ever wonder why animals only get so big on the Earth? Ever wonder why the admin on this site ain't wrapped real tight? It's heat son..heat! A large animal can only dissipate a certain amount of heat per unit of surface area. An engine can only get rid of so much heat per unit of surface area. That's why they have fins. That's why I have fins. Who made the comment about heat? Oh.....Luke. Never mind what I just said...moving on.
Now, always listen to JCT842. Not too many people know this but 842 is his age. He is older...and grumpier than me, but not by much. He is correct, high octane gas actually has less energy per unit than one of my pharts, but not by much. I have to spell it like that because mine actually constitute an obscenity. Actually, during the recent winter storm here in the south I used flatulence to power the gas turbines for Alabama Power and made a nice little stipend for myself and the misses. Strange, I haven't seen her since the storm passed. I'm here honey, just waiting for you. fart
Still with me bud? OK, who mentioned the pod filter? Oh...John....I'm stunned....um, got a special this month on pods merchant boy?! Maybe you could talk Dburna27 out of his rent payment?? Hmmmmm? Mr. Podfilter?? Maybe the money he has for groceries!!?? How do you live with yourself? And yes, I just sent off that last installment that will pay off that $842.99 for that extra hot spark plug that was on special. You know, I didn't see much improvement in performance like you promised. So it's the Km vs Mi thing? OK...whatever.
KZ has this conspiracy theory thing about 62cc engines. He's almost as old as me, cut him some slack. Ignore everything Twowheeler says until he gets some therapy about that stupid tater. And Alley, he's one of a kind, great guy, and I have to say that or he'll kick my cyberass. Don't read these guys wrong pal, they're good people. We may argue and fuss sometimes, but we're always friends, and so are you. Rich

Like i really just wanted a little advice, and gave my current status of the scoot.. But yea everyone here seems really cool and allot of knowledge here.. At this point i can say for sure im getting 45 MPH out of it, as i said i had a car ride along beside me doing 45 and i was rite there with him, But anyway Yea I really like these forums .. Even though i did not really like being told i was Not being truthful, i can understand why ppl would say that giving most only go 35 from what im told.. So i guess i Lucked up and should be greatful i get the speed i get.. I was just wanting to get it up to 60 but not at the cost of burning the engine up.. Id much rather have it alive then drive fast for a few months.. I thought about getting a 150cc but then im gonna have to get insurance an register it , and would i need a regular Motorcycle L for this? Or just a scooter L? The whole reason im scooting around at this time is driver L is suspended due to paying over 2grand in tickets late, and was charged 100 bucks for each ticket that was late, coming up to 900 bucks or soo.. But thank god they have a Program here in SOUTH CAROLINA, WHERE i live, that says if u owe over 500 etc u can pay 15% of the whole amount and they will give me a full DRIVER L for 6 months, but during that time i have to pay it off.. Not to mention i have to get SR22 NOW, for a stunt a pulled in 09 july 4th, got bluelighted, and was in my fathers truck, he was having money issues then so i did not want him to have to pay a towing fee, of 250buck! SO i just drove on and which i was only 3 miles from my home, never sped off, but when i got in my yard i jumped out an ran, got away an stayed clear for a year, so when i got caught an went to court after pleading guilty i got a letter telling me before i get my DRIVER L gotta get SR-22.. Which im gonna get and claim Non owners ,or something like that, meaning i dont own a car, just gonna switch the car i buy with my Tax money in fthers name, to keep the sr 22 an insurance down. Anyway, I dont have a smart phone with that GPS app, BUT im getting one soon as tax return comes in, iv got a fat check coming, already filed and all, an was told i will have it by feb21st... Good chatting with everyone..

maybe he has a "sweet one",that one in a million that's put together just right I dunno bro, But its run great from day one, very quick take off speed etc.. I know 2 other guys that got some around the same time from the same place, and they also run between 40 and 45.. So its not just me and my "special" scoot.. Im gonna do the GPS app thing though, and see how accurate it is according to that.. Iv already said i had someone in a car doing 45mph an i was riding rite along side them.. It probly is just more CC than 50cc.. thats what iv had 3 ppl say IRL and now on the forums

Hey how many miles do u guys get from a gallon on your scoots? with lucas oil stabilizer i get 71mpg without lucas it's only about 63mpg DAMN, I dont get anything close to that!! I only get about 45 miles to the 1gallon it holds.. Luke what type scoot do u have? I have heard everyone say they get 60mpg PLUS!! Im lucky to get 45MPG.. It only holds 1 gallon i feel sure, damn.. What is a OIL STABILIZER>? I use synthetic Oil in mine. I never heard of OIL stabilizer, please explain if u dont mind, what does it do? If i buy some and add it will it help mine. I wonder why i dont get as many MPG as others..

Don't be insulted, you are incredibly lucky. I believe you. I too possess an incredibly fast 50cc, only it has gears and 17" wheels. I've seen 55 mph on the speedo a few times and run an indicated 50 regularly. Again though, I wouldn't touch a thing on yours. You have yourself a Gem.

dburna, mine probably is an isolated case so to speak because i ride a 250cc fuel injected, liquid cooled, eci ,tci starter with counterbalance crankshaft thingy, a lot different from what kz and twowheeler rides..., i shouldnt have chimed in to begin with. i feel like im putting salt on an open wound. anyway, the oil stabilizer helps a lot in putting up my gas mileage, someone here says it only makes the oil thicker,(you know who you are.) but ive tested it on all of my machines and it works , i can telll the big difference. but then its probably a mixture of everything, i get 71 mpg because i use oil stabilizer plus we have no hilly roads here in my place, plus i only weigh 155lbs. go figure!
but yeah, try the lucas oil stab, you can buy them at wally's world or autozone

45 mpg is half the MPG youre supposed to get. 50 MPH is twice the MPH......Works out!
