I blocked the guy. I don't see anything he puts up anymore. At first, I tried to keep an open mind about him. It didn't take very long for me to give up on that. I considered the possibility that he just gets picked on. Nope. He does it to himself.

It's not that we're picking on him. He's propagating the myth that Chinese scooters are junk and it's not so. My retorts are only because there are almost 1,000 visitors here a day. Some might actually believe him, spend excess cash buying something "Brand Name" because of it, needlessly. A Chinese scooter either from a dealer or well prepped out of the crate will give you years of enjoyment. My signature's mileage notations are testament to that. I ride as many miles a year as he does and he lives where you can ride year round. I have almost six to seven months of winter. It's 28* as I speak. So what does that tell you about how good his Morphous is?

Yeah luke is some what of a procrasting person I see were you guy's are coming from. I see what you all are saying. I feel lead to say he is somewhat negative and that's not good for people who are trying to work through there problems on there scooters. Well a am great full that people have an open mind to talk about it. Now I know he's just a negative person I noticed that ever post has some sort of conflict to one another no one needs that good for you all thanks for responding.

Just trying to understand why everyone talks to him with a conflict. Hope you all have a great year riding thanks.

WE beat this dead horse all the time here Jvino,,,a properly set up chinese scoot can indeed give you miles and miles of smiles,,the thing is you get someone who is not mechanically inclined decides "HEY I'M GONNA BUY ONE OF THEM THERE SCOOTERS IN A BOX"!!!!! SAVE ME A BUNCH OF DOUGH!!!!,,,put it together and poof it doesn't work correctly,,,then it's the old chinese scooters are junk song,,,,Doc who started this thread did it right,,,,he didn't know sh!t from shineola about scooters,,(me included),,asked a bunch of pertinent questions,,,made a good purchase,,,took his time and put it together,,,asked a bunch more questions ,,put up pics ,,did adjustments,,,now he's riding,,,,,BAM!!!,,,NOW all Doc did was do what the dealer is supposed to do if they get it in the crate,,,now easy math here for speed,,,dealer gets crate scoot for $500,,,4-5 hours set up,x$75 per hour $300,+ overhead +profit,,,ect $500,,,instant $1300 scooter plus tax and license out the door,,,Doc did the work,,,but here's the catch,,,DOC DID THE WORK,,,I've got a $4000+ scooter,,,i still had to DO THE WORK,,cause it sat for a decade,,and i had to go thru it to make sure it was kosher,,,and it still gave me grief a couple weeks ago (only cause i'm a moron),,,my point is there are a few areas where chinese scoots are a little weak,,,,on one it will be the cdi,,others belts ,,tires on others,,here's another way to look at it,,,i like to work on my machines,,it's my hobby,,,say i buy me a chinese scoot $800 in the driveway,,,and i have to put $1000 into it to make it killer,,,$1800 for a rock solid ride,,,where can you get that???$3600 is the cheapy from vespa and a 50cc at that,,,150cc over $5000,,,,piagio is a little less,,,,,,,,
