I just bought a 2014 Taotao 50, and after the first 1000 Km the idle began to surge. While investigating the possible causes, I noticed that the stock carb. that came on the unit DOESN'T have a fuel/air adjustment screw. As it turns out, I adjusted the valves and found a small gap in the intake manifold, and that corrected the problem. I'm still wondering how I can adjust the rich/lean mixture (in case I ever need to)! Also, there was a hose not connected to anything (turns out it has to do with the EGR system). I couldn't find anything to connect it to, so I plugged it with a bolt. Does this sound familiar to ANYONE!
