Well I got the matching 30mm intake but trying to figure out a way to increase the port on the scooter it self and with these engine setups it's a little odd, I'll be posting up pics later and also been looking at the pumper carbs and flat side carbs in place of the standard 30mm I got, I've got all winter to get it tuned it just right and I order the main jet assortments to figure out best overall performance along with a/f ratio gauge drilled into what ever aftermarket exhaust I pick out, problem being for me I cant find 1 that seems to work for what I'm wanting to do, kinda leaning toward scrappy dogs bintelli havoc exhaust, might as well go all out and make this a all winter project.

Well I'm also in the process of changing out the starter gear from trying to make that 30mm carb work on a cheap blue cdi off ebay so now I'm tracking down a performance cdi that doesn't cause starting issues

Hey,
Well the starter clutch is out on the ole scooter and im going to take this oppurtunity to see how fast I can make 1 of these littke scooters with the help of the Scooter Doc forum members and with the help of any 1 else willing to help.
The scooter: LB-150-19 Alien 150cc scooter "Longbo"
Whats done so far/ Parts on hand:
12g koso rollers Koso performance clutch 30mm carb and intake 1500lb main spring and clutch springs Blue performance CDI "Ebay"= dead and in need of a new 1 perferably that dont have starter issues.
Okay I would like to install a Big bore kit and cams etc, but cant due to the 1p57QMJ motor style, from what I can research these motors has a differnt head style so my question is can I just buy a aftermarket head and follow through with the BBK and what do you suggest as far as a solution to this motor issue and and performacne wise for the scooter, any intel and info for this project would be greatly apperciated, and sites with good products for the price etc, and thanks for the help guys.
If I left out anything I apologize, just let me know what you all need and ill see if I can get it done, im pretty handy with a wrench "Mostly motorcycles" but these Honda clone motors dont seem all that complicated.

I actually never knew 150cc wasnt rev limited huh, I have 12g koso rollers in and i noticed the scooter has progressavily gotten harder to start its basically just grinding now so im about to park the ole scooter and pull out the ninja, but I dont have a clue what going on with this scooter.... I even went back to stock carb and jets and still performs the same, its starting to bog on heavy throttle on top of the variator issues now so I think im about to park the scooter for winter and build it for summer next year, so im about to create a new thread on performance mods for the 1p57qmj eninges, and thanks agin for your alls help.

Hey
Well change of plans lol, I couldn't figure out why I could get this to turn over well I was trying all these different jet sizes and not looking to anything else so I had to go back to basics, did the scooter get spark yes... compression yes....gas yes.... vacuum leaks no...well all this was figured out after I put the stock setup back in and still wouldnt turn over, we'll after trying and trying it was the cheap performance cdi "ebay" that was the issue I put the stock cdi in and started on the first try.... it just sucks now because the Rev limiter is back and the bike feels a lot slower

The exhaust is still stock yes but I did take it off and gutted out some of the internals enough to make it straight through and drimmeled as much as I could at the port to match the motor but even then not really enough I've just seen some scooters with less than what I've got get a 30mm tuned in but I guess I over shot it lol and I can't use 1 of the traditional bbk with a 1p57qmj motor... so down sizing it is

To begin with I adjusted the idle mix screw 2 turns out and got it to start but only when I'm holding the throttle wide open, 2nd attempt I turn idle mix 2 1/2 and couldn't get it to start even with the throttle wide open and like wise with 3 turn on idle mix screw, all with a 120 main jet and 35 idle jet, I have on hand I could try a 32 idle with either a 120 main or a 114 main, but it's a pain to keep pulling jets so I figured I would ask ppl who has a 30mm tuned carb what they used

Hey,
Well I'm trying to get this carb to tune and idle correctly, I'm 850ft above sea level, carb came stock with a 35 idle jet and a 120 main jet and I can't get the scooter to idle unless I hold the throttle wide open, is there any 1 else out there gotten a good tune or a idea of what jets I should use to get a good idle?
Current Mods: Ebay performance blue cdi Uni filter 12g roller weights Koso clutch 1500 main spring and clutch springs 120 main jet in Stock carb.

Hey,
I own a gy6 150cc scoot and just bought a 30mm pumper carb and in the description it says no vacuum line needed, but in the bottom of the pumper carb the round peice has a port and i dont know what it goes to, it looks like what the cauum port looks like on the side of the stock carb?? any ideas and i know ahead of time this is a dumb question.
