Thanks, I appreciate the pics.
Got the rear wheel off, no problem (had to deflate the tire to get it past the rear shock). New Shinko on and all is well.
One other question... Is there a recommended grease/lube for between the drive shaft and bushing? When I removed mine, there was nothing there and oddly enough, no worn spots (very surprising). I put some grease on there (something I had lying around) but was curious if anyone had something they recommend.

Great photos. Always makes it easier when you see what your working with.
I have 2008 Rocketa MC-54-250B. Is it "basically" the same prceedure? Is there anything else I need to know?
Additionally, has anyone purchased and used Shinko tires (SR568R)? Price looked good and they are rated at least for 95 mph. Looked like a good replacement rear tire. Feed back is welcome.
Thanks

Thanks for the help. I've found my idle adjustment screw is very tough to get at. I need to get a 90 degree driver with a real short neck (< 1/4"). Hopefully it's just a small adjustment.

As i am new to scoots and purchased a used one that didn't include any manuals or anything I have a question about the rear tire during idle. When the scoot is on the center stand (rear wheel off the ground) the rear wheel will spin when in idle. Should this be? With the rear brake applied, my MC-54-250B (Linhai clone engine) will idle at just under 2K. When I release the brake, the rear wheel turns and the tach can read over 3K. Additionally, if I am at a stop and do NOT have the brake applied the scoot will want to roll forward. I don't recall this being the case when I test drove it (or others). Should the rear tire spin while in idle? Are there adjustments I need to make? Attachments:
