Oh well I guess I talked too soon! Bike ran fine since I changed lines, put 100 miles on it and crapped out today 3 times doing 50 mph....finally had to abandon ship...wouldn't start...ran battery down constantly trying to start it...still patiently waiting for place I bought scooter to send a new replacement fuel pump.....Picked Scooter up tonight after a serious thunder storm ran through and loaded her on the truck and took the broken baby home! Quite frankly I am almost done with CHINESE CRAP!!!!!!!! HELP? ?? Well much to my surprise...almost 2 weeks later I finally got my new fuel vacuum pump....installed it and I am riding once again! Yeah! Hope nothing else goes wrong! I would just like to enjoy riding my scooter for the summer!

Jetram123 is me with the 2007 Jonway didn't realize I had already signed in onto this website. Well the gas smell was because I had spilled some gas on the floor board! Duh da duh! The bike now has 150 miles on it and I have already changed the oil and gear oil! Was wondering if I should change the antifreeze in radiator? Also is there a spot where transmission fluid goes? Already replaced gas line and vac line because scooter wouldn't start and crapped out while I was riding 1/2 mile from home! Had to walk that baby all the way home! But she is now up and running! I am really loving it! Had her cranked up to 65 and was raring to still go more. Thank goodness my neighbor has the same scooter and is able to help me when I have a problem! Don't mind fixing her ....just can't stand the smell of gas! Thank goodness it has dissipated! Going on a nice long trip with my neighbor and hoping she runs fine! Attachments:

When I get the new fuel pump I am going to change all the gas lines because the one's from the factory are crap! I am just glad the scooter crapped out 1/2 mile from home! Was a pain in the butt walking it back home.....Thanks for your input! So you say the vacuum line should be short and thick walled? ? Will look into that!

I Have a 2007 and the same thing happened to me today and it turned out that the fuel pump was bad.....luckily I have only had mine 1 month and they are sending me a new fuel pump replacement. Check it out.....mine was getting the vacuum but the pump wasn't pumping any gas up to carburetor! Unfortunately my scooter will be curbed for Memorial Day weekend....
