1 Question I've now have my bracket for the R/R & the diode mounted to the front of the scooter before the radiator what I would like to know is that I need to add 2 to 2½' of 16ga (wire I already have) from the stator to the R/R should the voltage & current still be close to the same and the wire I have work for the stator being the stator has cloth covering over maybe Teflon (or fireproof maybe) coated wire? #2 Questions Not for sure but I think I seen this video on the scooter professor forum about upgrade R/R for the MC-13-250 I believe the person in the video called it an O&T who would carry this or one like it with a little more amp How in the would do you post an image from photobucket?

Like to know if it is possible if I was to weld a bracket on my scooter frame in front of the radiator if the wires from the stator would still carry the same AC voltage without dropping also the same goes for the Diode & R/R for better air flow and to prevent removing all the plastic just to get to them for testing. also I have notice my dc voltage(Red Wire) starts dropping off when the R/R heat sink starts getting very hot to the touch

Thanks Bashan
will do this after dinner
Most I got was 13.10 volts at idle & full speed so I take it not charging at all what could be the most likely suspect how would you test

Thanks Tvnacman
for your help but should it still put out 14.5 volts regardless if the battery was hook-up or not because after you ride it for awhile the battery goes dead even if the battery was fully charged the battery voltage will start dropping after running a little while

Here are the checks I done bashan Battery check engine not running 14.7 volts Engine cold running Ground Cable unhooked from battery 14.7 volts Engine hot (temp guage above the ½ way point) Ground Cable unhooked @ low idle (normal) 6.5 volts Engine hot (temp gauge above the ½ way point) Ground Cable unhooked @ fast idle (wheel just barely moves) 7.5 volts Also I've notice that the radiator fan does not come on until the temp guage gets above the ½ way point by about 1/8"
