Well the mikuni made it today,,,,less than an hour later it was a quick rip around the big block 3.4 miles AND WE HAVE A WINNER FOLKS!!!!!!! nice progressive even power,,,,still have a high speed starvation issue but it's not carb related,,thats a vacuum problem that i've solved last week with a micro vac pump that i'll get onto the switched power lead and this baby is a wrap!!!!,,so i get to ride to work again,,,

So on my way into work the scoot dies ,,,,big time ,,,,lift the seat got no fuel in the lines (so glad i went with clear lines this time around and suggest them to anyone who will listen),,,,so i pull the vac line and put vacuum on the petcock i got nothin,,,no fuel goes into the line !!!!!!,,,,,AAAAAAHHHHH i crack the gas tank cap BAM!!!! fuel,,,i just love these multi combo problems,,,i don't even have to pull my hair out it's just falling out on it's own,,,,

Does that thing have a vapor system or a vented cap? The Harley guys I treated for years always complained about the vacuum petcock, the tank vent, or the vapor system. Same stuff we deal with just bigger. Rich

i just left the cap a little loose on my way in,,,problem dissappeared,,,,so i just drilled a 10 thou hole in the cap at an angle,,,,problem solved
