I have a change to purchase a CFMOTO water cool 4 stroke 150cc but don't know anything about this motor. Will it be a good engine for a Ruckus project . Your knowledge of the motor will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have that engine in a Pegasus. It is a superior engine among any two wheeled machine. It is CF Moto and therefore different from the GY6 crowd. It will not bolt into a GY6 frame, just a CF Moto with a 16" wheels. If you are great at metal fabrication it would fit in another 16" wheel scooter with some parts fabrication. It looks similar but the sparkplug is on the left, three phase stator, H2O cooling, beefier with different motor mount spacing. It's a cool engine, but CF Moto does not fit anything other than CF Moto. Rich

Thanks Rich , base on your information I purchase the motor for $160. and would like to build a custom scoot. I like the Honda Ruckus frame and with some frame mounting modifications I think it will work. Again thank you for your response and knowledge of this motor. Will post pics of this project . Ron
