Wildfire r8 again!! It's been running great for about a month maybe more. Rode it home today. Then about an hour later started it up, it was sitting for a few minutes and died. Wouldn't start back up!! Figured out it's not getting spark for some reason. Can't quite figure out why!!

How many miles on it? First, check all the connections on the CDI. Many a rider has been stranded because a connector vibrated loose. Do the same for the coil and check the plug boot also. If that's all cool we'll need to check the voltages from the stator. Rich

Just about 4000 miles on it. I've checked all connections to cdi. And boot. I am gonna have to take it all apart and check EVERYTHING I guess. Something had to of come loose. It has been running great

Yeah I wish it was the kill switch haha that and gas was the first thing I checked

Well yeah, it could be a connector but at 4K you have to consider the ignition coil, or trigger coil, or the CDI.

Just replaced to ignition coil and plug about a month ago. Gonna go ahead and just order a cdi and trigger coil.
