Im getting my 150cc back in a few days, and since I'm going to have to replace the belt anyways im going to replace the variator weights while I have the tools and have it tore down.I used to get a average crusing speed of about 50~ mph on this moped. Now I'm moving up to the mountains and want more revs for hauling my 260lb arse up these steep hills.
What is the stock weight rollers? I was looking at getting some 10GM from scrappydog. Whats the lightest you would recommend going on a 150? I want more takeoff power as its sluggish right now. It almost seems as if its got too heavy a weight on there right now.

I'll say this once more, leave the weights like they are and put a stiffer torque spring in. It holds the bike down in lower ratios until the higher RPMs force the variator out. You get to keep your top end but it will shift into lower gears quicker for hill climbing.
