yup. finally got something of my own to drive when the weather isn't so nice. was my Grandpa's and he quit driving and sold to me. as a contrast to the 2 scoots, this only gets 14-15mpg on a good day so it definitely is just a poor-weather vehicle. may be able to improve the mpg slightly by removing the topper, since it makes it harder to see out the back anyway, and ive never liked the look of it with it on.

I doubt if you will see any big improvement with topper off. Then there are those who take a tail gate off or leave it down in quest of better mileage and they loose on that one. A pick up gets better mileage with the tail gate up.....its been proven by scientific methods. Its all about smooth air flow.

seems like mythbusters tested the tailgate thing and found what you said was true. I wanted the topper gone because it is also falling apart inside and the gas struts don't hold the window up anymore, also you can see the clearcoat is about gone too.

ok heres the engine, all 210 hp of it. the c clamp its on the heater hose because the blend door no longer works and you get constant heat even on a/c. I need to fix it but thats for another day.


and my exhaust tip I added, because I cant leave well enough alone. its even internally resonated for that deep tone
