How did you check the spark and do you have a multimeter?

DF300, go back to my post and read what i wrote, I would start with checking for burnt wiring in the switch housing on your right handle bar... the one with the kill switch and starter button.
You do need to check for spark at the plug with a meter to be sure you have no spark if you haven't done so already. you could otherwise have a fuel issue. chinese scoots are very well known for air, vacuum leaks that will act just like no spark issues.

Did you ground the plug when you checked it? You have to hold the electrode against a ground source like the valve cover or a bare frame spot. This isn't me and I'm not a big fan of the compression check but the rest is decent.

One of the fuse connectors had come out of the plastic cover and shorted out on the frame. Is how I melted it. Im not sure if the CDI is ac or dc how would I tell?

The first step in determining what type of CDI you have is to get us a pic. If you are going to use a forum like this for help you have to provide images.
