I reopened the pet cock to find the leak. Some dumba$$ (me) folded over the membrane when he closed it. I flattened it out, reassembled, and reinstalled. Runs like a dream now. Thanks for all your help.

the tube attached to the manifold is cracked, no wonder i have internettent idling due to air leak,,and it happened after 31years!! wow i love razz.... no wonder its a yamaha!! just changed the tubing and its good as new again..   |

i ended putting a manual one on but i got an actual oem rebuild kit for the automatic fuel tap so i cleaned it rebuilt it and now it's waiting as a spare,,,i rode yamahas for years,,,excellent machines,,,only had two issues with one,,,the cdi took a crap and was working intermittently and made it almost impossible to find,,and i did notice that it took quite a long time to get parts,,,other than that i liked them,,oh i found the oem rebuild kit on ebay with a little digging

of course , im asian and we adore pretty blonde girls with blue eyes , the only time we get a chance to see them is on movie house or theatre.

after 3weeka of using this stuff, my chamber is superclean  i used mechanical scope  and here how it looks inside of a 30yr old stock two stroke motor. boy! that engine cleaner is really good.  |
