I'm helping a friend try to get his retro scooter running but I need to know exactly what it is for repair info, parts, etc. and he's not sure. So, I took a picture of the VIN. Can anyone please help me identify this? Thanks.

We need the engine number, it's on the bottom left front case of the engine...probably. Are there any badges or numbers on the outside of the bike? A pic would help a lot.

Yea forget about the VIN get a picture of the scoot then we can maybe find a match. There are HUNDREDS of scoots and they change from year to year so your looking at maybe thousands of models and different skins on them. Alleyoop

It's a 50cc GY6 engine with a 39mm bore. Not to be derisive but it is a run of the mill Chinese scooter with no exotic parts or components. It's nothing special. Use any GY6 50cc manual in our Library. When you order give them the engine code 139QMB. Order from the tiles scrolling across the top of the site. Since you need personal attention I'd call John at NYC and tell him Rich sent you. After he hangs up on you call him back and say "the quacker is a duck, not a saltine". He'll know what you mean.
