I have been servicing this scooter on the ground, and it is not time productive, and it hurts. Thus I want to get it up to an acceptable working height.
Currently considering scooter jacks and tables. The table is something that seems better for me as it provides space for tools, meters and such.
Where I have a problem is in supporting the scooter chassis while removing the powertrain for bench service and testing.
Does anyone know of an adapter that can support the scooter frame rear section during this procedure. Have considered building a 'swing arm' or "support bar" for that purpose, but thought to ask here for what others are using.

HF also has a table lift with a section that drops out to remove the rear wheel of a motorcycle. With a motorcycle you put it on the center stand on the lift to remove the rear wheel. Would that work on a scooter? www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/lifts-stands.htmlI have a Sears version of item #61632 and it works great.

I use the HF lift:
Then if I want to get the rear wheel off the ground I put a 4X4 under the frame and set it on two jack stands, tie off the front end, and lower the lift. It picks the bike right up. Let me see if I can find a pic of that.
Here, it works the same for 250's:
I put my SYM on this lift all the time too. But it's rated at 1,000 pounds...NOPE! Not this boy. I got my Vulcan 1500 about two foot up on that puppie and said "coming down"! Up to 500...no problem.

Thanks everyone for your help. It is truly appreciated.
It is not surprising that the lift table will not support it's rated capacity as the ALCI found the same thing with car lifts and it was not only Chinese made lifts that were over rated.
Think I'll need to develop a universal upper support bar so that I can work at full height as I don't want to work that low if possible
