Pricey bike but beautiful, probably. I say that because a friend of mine bought a Honda Fury and brought it over for me to ogle. I did but I thought some of the chrome and welds were kind of cheesy. I didn't say anything but I expected more from Honda. My Kawi was perfect from the factory, I figured Honda could do the same.
Think you can work on that yourself? If it's a tranny problem outside of warranty get ready to pony up. Other than that I'd say a decent backyard mechanic could change plugs and oil. I serviced my Kawi and it was a first gen fi, I wouldn't think that the Honda would be much more complex. That would be a nice ride...very nice. Maybe there's a used one around for a little less coin than MSRP.

Either way, I have to spend some $$ on paint. I hate red and I prefer not to have an all black ride. Turn all the red into a nice neon blue.
Yep. Except for the tranny, I think I could handle the rest of it. I wonder if Honda has a class I can take to work on that tranny. They probably want a million bucks for me to take it though.

Went and checked out the Honda this morning. Man... I had to leave or I might have sold my kids right then for it. It's a sweet ride. I think I'm gonna have to get one. Now I just need to find a decent fairing for it. They only make red ones. Bleh.

I'm going to give it one more chance before I set fire to it. I'll go to Wally world and get me a small bottle of Methyl Hydrate and clean the life right out of it. This stuff is made to cut varnish and shellac so it should rip right thru any crud in the carb. I'm praying my tank doesn't have crud in it. I SO don't feel like taking ALL the plastics off just to get to the gas tank. That would really suck major monkey meat. And I'm going to put a new coil on it. The one it has is just not testing within spec. But then the specs I have are from the Honda Helix. Anyone have specs on the coil the 250's come with?
