I was busy last night and not able to work on the bike. It is a 2008 Qipai QT150T-6. I bought it from a guy that said it was almost brand new with only 500 miles on it. I am coming to the conclusion that the new, good parts were taken off and replaced with old, worn out parts. I will work on it tonight and let you guys know what I find. Maybe it has a charging diode!
Thanks again for your quick responses, knowledge, and humor.

Bashan tvnacman Guitarman Alleyoop I checked the voltages again on the stator. The W or Y wires were reading well over 40V AC at high revs: 60V to be exact on both wires. Bad stator? Could not find charging diode.

Do you have a wiring diagram for it?

Those are really Blocking Diodes so that you do not blow out your headlights. But you should have a regulator/rectifier on the scoot. Not to many scoots have a blocking diode on them just the r/r which will look something like this: Some are smaller some are bigger but they will all have fins on the box to help cool them. The least amount of wires I have seen are 4 plug ones which are smaller. Alleyoop

this is a first I have seen a blocking diode on the 150cc . I have not seen a blocking diode on a single phase set up , only on the 250's with 3 phase set up .

Here is how you teat your stator and R/R from A to Z. You have a single phase, ignore the three phase part except you should read through it because it explains some later testing. There's also a chapter in the same GY6 manual on stator concepts and how they work. If you understand it the testing is much easier.
