Merh. I'm so frazzled. I'll let you know what I find, I'm avoiding things again. Every time something happens I have like 20 guys in my family and friends telling me 20 DIFFERENT things that must be wrong, funny part is the only person who's ever right are the people from this forum. xDD I'm scared to know. It always breaks when I spend my money on a bill..... >,..,<

Did you pull the CVT cover? As Alley said, if the engine turns but the bike won't move it's probably the CVT and probably the belt. The belt is not a big deal so quit agonizing over it. The CVT cover is just 8mm bolts but the gasket sometimes makes it difficult to get the cover off. Usually hitting it with a rubber hammer will knock it loose. Get one of those 20 "experts" to shut up and put them to good use.

No Impact needed. Just the right size socket driver and a rubber mallet. If you don't have the mallet, use a block of wood wrapped in rags and tap it with a regular hammer.

First lets see what is wrong so take the first step and take the CVT cover off and take a picture of the CVT. Need to see how the belt is sitting in the pulleys or the belt is broke and or shredded to bits.

HAHAHA, good one Kiewie, Now you will have to take the VARIATOR off and check the weights they are probably out of position in their respective ramps due to the belt breaking or could have come completely out and your missing 1 or 2  . Since it looks like the cvt has not been looked at for quite some time I would also get a set of new weights along with the new belt.  There was no lovey dovey with this scoot or cvt it was neglected and left to cry over it's own beer.  Alleyoop |
