So is there a product like crank wash or crank flush that could help That product works great when you split the case . Put the wash in there , order an extra set of gaskets for when you have to do it again in a month or two . Don't be lazy , take your time do it right . John

Stop by a pawn shop for a budget impact. Harbor f has them on sale all the time too. With out one things get broke. If you do go inside make damn sure the oil pump is working. Sounds like last bb had parts not compatable with each other. The is no flush that will disolve metal parts. One little shard or metal sliver hidden in a passage that gets inside the oil pump after you get it together and it will have been cheaper to replace the engine with brand new one, adding all you have in it now.

How about letting jr put a post delete so I CAN DELETE A DOUBLE POST?
We never had a problem with double posts with old soft ware and before the "bells and whistles"

Good advise about the impact thank you and I will make sure to do so. And I will put in some better bearings while I am in there I will also replace with a oil pump that came in my second bbk I destroyed and it also came with a gasket kit

Where's the retainer clip for that valve? That valve has dropped bud, that didn't do any good.
