Ok, since I believe my timeing is off I ordered a New Cam Chain Tensioner and a Flywheel Puller before I attempt to time it at TDC. I have never done this before so I have a couple of questions: 1.) I noticed that the Tensioner comes with a "T" shaped Key that fits in to turn the Tensioner. I inserted the Key and tried to turn it and I could not turn it. 2.) I noticed that on the side there is tab with a brass piece sticking out. a. Is that Tab supposed to be pulled out so that the Tensioner can be turned? I don't see any other use for it but I may be wrong. 3.) The Key goes in and fits into a smaller Slot down about 1/8 or so from the top. a. Do I use a Small Screwdriver that needs to fit into the Small Slot or a Bigger Screwdriver that fits on the top part of the Tensioner. Alleyoop Here is a picture of the KEY and the Black Tab with a Brass pigtail.

Thanks for the poop, also found out that you have to have the tension off when installing. I just tried it and here is a bit of poop about the "T" shaped Key. The "T" Shaped Key has a function and it works great. You put the Key in part way just enough to turn the Tensioner and retract it all the way up then You push the Key Down and it locks it in that position by using the Slots on the top of the Tensioner. That frees up both of your hands to install the Tensioner then all you do is pull the Key up away from the Top Slots and turn it Counter Clockwise until it stops. So this way you can use both hands to bolt the tensioner back in without haveing to HOLD the Tension off with the a screwdriver Alleyoop Here is the Tensioner Extended and the "T" Shaped Key. Here is the Tensioner Retracted using the Key to Hold it Retracted. Here is the Top of the Tensioner with the KEY Locked on the Top Slots.
