The first service on the stella is coming up,,,probably sunday,,,ordered a few oil filters from e-bay,,,should be here friday i would think,,,i'll go over it good ,,,adjusting all cables and valves ,,,and on the next one i'll change the pipe and carb and airfilter

Send some pics I'll post them. I'd really like to see the real live oil filter. I'm working on the SYM right now and still trying to figure out why it has only a filter basket.

I'll hit the 500 mark Saturday so I'll leave it at my studio and let it sit overnite so it will be dead cold when I do the valves,,, new oil / filter and adjust everything ,,, all in all I'm very pleased with the stellas quality,, filters made it so I'm ready now

I meant well but the Stella service had to take a back seat to my one ton,,,all filters and oil including the ultra royal pain in the a$$ fuel water separator filter,,,boy the numbnuts engineer that placed that thing should have his a$$ kicked solid

EASY PEASY BABY!!!!!!!! Oil changed,, valves done, the screen cleaned and filter changed,,, a few adjustments and we are in business BABY!!! Wiped everything down gave everything the eyeball,,, all is well

That's nice that it has an oil filter cartridge too. I wish Chinese bikes had that....hell, I wish the SYM had that!

Don't get all worked up Rich when they were delivered I thought the seller forgot to put them in the package,,, they are 2 inches long and 2 inches wide,,, I guess they do their job and it is only a 150 ,,, I did find a little debris in the screen and I'm chalking it up to the gear box,,,, I'm going to tell myself that over and over till I actually believe it myself,,,,next change if there is more THEN I sh!t my pants,,,, the oil was used and not overly dirty and the filter was clean so I'm not going to panic,,, and I found no metallic particles in the filter,,, other than that it's running great

Could it be a little gasket material? That's pretty common in early oil changes on Chinese scooters.
