Scha-wheeeeeeeeeeet! Great finish and you'll love the lights, you can actually see at night. Do you have an aux outlet? I can actually run heated gloves off of mine. They put great batteries in them too but see how old it is. See if you have a digital volt gauge. You toggle through with the clock function button. If a red light comes on that shows an oil can it is NOT the engine warning light. It is a nice reminder from SYM that you should be thinking about an oil change. How cool is THAT!? Is that water cooled?

It's water cooled, and I plan on changing the oil next weekend.

That is one fine scooter, I think more than one of us are a bit envious. Believe if it were mine, I would have changed the oil yesterday.....with only 450 miles on the scoot, there is a pretty good chance that the oil it has now, was put in at time of manufacture..... 3+ years ago.....dump it....dump it....dump it

If you park the Sym outside you have to get a cover,,,that will stop 90% of the degredation that the sun and weather do to the finishes

The oil shouldn't take long, but I need daylight. I think it'll hold out for Friday or Saturday. I was going to do it this last weekend but time didn't allow. Found a video on changing the water, don't have to take off the front but WILL have to 'pull' a bit to access the radiator. I bought a real live tarp this time. $8, large enough to cover and I use $1 store carabiners to hold it on. Fully covered!

There's two oil drain plugs, do them both. There's the screen plug and the one on the left side which is a 17mm. This applies to GY6's also meatheads. Rich

Right you are. Not sure the filter was done, or even the oil was changed at purchase.
