If not prozac, then maybe some bourbon or rum. Hell, any liquor store type stuff.

LOL!
Numbers 4 and 7 are pretty much the same, 'happening later' is important to some folks.
Number 6, if he eats the sandwich and still has the gleam, RUN!
Amen on number 2. That behavioral sink is really making a mess of things.

For the most part, all the chinese scooters are the same under the molding. There's a little variety, type of muffler, location of airfilter, etc, but nothing too dramatic. All the variation is in the plastic molding on top. That means that the molding won't be interchangeable, but you probably knew that.
Can't tell for sure, but it looks to be 49cc in engine size, the body under the seat doesn't look large enough for a 150cc. The good news is that I've seen entire new engines for $300ish depending on the store so getting it going again shouldn't break the bank too badly.

Did you read it? Damn thing will do FIFTY MPH with the limiter off! ON LITTLE WOODEN WHEELS! I'd never ride it, the vibration would make my head fall off.

Well, most here have seen my posts about my old TaoTao. The maintenance is just too high on them.

Took a long ride (50 miles round trip) to Denton on the scoot. It stayed cool almost the whole way up, started to rise after I got off the highway. On the way back, I was stuck in stop and go and the temp started rising then, too. I also heard the fan come on at one point.
It seems that the scoot isn't too happy at stop and go traffic, distance and speed are OK. The temp never got above 2/3rds either.
I'll keep an eye, but I think it's going to be fine.

Flushed again last night, then refilled with 50/50 fluid. The fan FINALLY came on. It works, but I think that the temp gauge on near overheating should have turned it on.
Well, I drained it, put some plain water in and ran it for a bit. It rose to about 2/3 then lowered. A couple times it didn't quite hit the red for overheating (the first time is when the fan came on) and if I revved a little it would lower again. It never 'burped' so I shut it off. At some point after that it finally took fluid from the overflow.
I'm going to run it a bit tomorrow morning and put more fluid in, if it needs it, then take a long ride. We'll see how it goes.

Temps seem low, if anything. Taking a long ride on Saturday up to Denton. I should know for sure then.
Got 2 manuals, but neither one says that this symbol being lit means anything.

It was on all the time on the way home last night. I think it's just illuminated, doesn't mean anything.
Gonna see if I can put a load of water in tonight, then put the fluid back in on Saturday.

Thanks. The manuals I found don't say that it even exists, never mind if it's doing anything.

That's not my gauge, but that's the same symbol as Richard said. It's always lit up, is that normal?

While I'm thinking about it, there is a light on my temp gauge, the little sailboat looking symbol. What is that for?
