Thanks guys. Alley - I had the petcock that came with the tank, it failed, bought a new one, failed to deliver fuel. I decided I dont trust petcocks anymore so that's why I put the manual shut off in. I have the fuel filter up higher than the manual shut off. It looks like fuel doesn't even want to go into the filter from the top ( its a clear filter so I can see) Cyborg - the fuel line that goes from the gas tank to the first first thing in my conga (" congo " heh ) line of parts is a good fuel line made for fuel. My mechanic said at least you won't have to change that one because that is definitely a good fuel line. My mechainc is the one that alerted me to the fact that the other fuel lines below the filter, connecting to the turn off switch and then down to the carb were in fact not meant for fuel so that's why I replaced the " not fuel lines " with fuel lines and the prob started today with it not flowing down. There was nobody there to take video or pics of the fuel line violation so you're arse out on those, sorry Maybe I have a dud fuel filter. I didn't look in it before putting it on. It could have had a sealed cheap plastic end for all I know. I bought a 5 pack, they were cheap. I'll have to inspect it. RichardV - lol. I am not trying to empty out my tank (i have fuel lines clamps ) but I do have a better catch container for drips and splashes for tomorrow's fun. Did not know that you could protect the barrel of an M-16 with a condom. Interesting. I bet you were not " shooting blanks " with that thing and yes tell Santa I want a GoPro Hero4 Black camera for my jetski LOL. Tell the elves I want insurance on it too Off to bed to dream of gasoline, sucking fuel lines and no more petcocks LOL

They have flavored condoms? Man... It's been a long time since I needed one of those.
We had M16a1's and used water balloons. Same effect. LOL
This thread is getting pretty racy. I might need a blood pressure pill...
I would start with the tank. I've seen so many tanks lately that are clogged with crud. Pull the line off the tank and if it fails to douse you, then you know already what you have to do.

Thanks. It's a new tank. Pulling the fuel line off would require me to to take the whole back end of the scooter apart and tank out to get to it. I hope to God it's nothing to do with the tank LOL.
Yeah flavored condoms have been around forever I've been buying them since I was like 15 ha ha . A water balloon on the end of a gun makes a little more sense LOL.

Everything needs to run downhill. Your filter should not be higher than anything else. It sould be a progressive downward slope. Mr. Congo

That tubing is made for smoke fluid for gas powered R/C model aircraft, the tubing is heat resistant. I use this tubing in my R/C Model plane.

Yuppers! You must do as the Romans and have the fluids flowing down hill. There is a formula to finger out how much up hill can be introduced without a large reduction in flow but it is very little, even in a large system.
As far as insurance, that don't go. The elves are forbidden to deal with monies. Sorry.

racer - thanks i got a refund on that smoke oil tubing and the correct fuel line Mr. Bashan Congo - it all runs down hill, the filter is first before the fuel shut off switch and then down to the carb. does it make a difference if the fuel shut off comes first from the tank before the filter or vice versa? richardv - makes sense about the elves. ------------------- I'm going to have to deal with the scooter tomorrow. Italiano is his name by the way. Its Chinese but I like Italian men between my legs so that's his name LOL. Dirty right? At least my jetski's name doesn't have a dirty connotation. Her name is For-Play It says it right on her My first scooter (the one before this was named N.A.B. which stood for No autobus ( no bus in spanish ) I was on the bus and for the third time in 20 min I had a woman in a walker ram into me on the bus then yell at me for being in her way. I hit the bell on the bus to get off in front of a scooter shop in south beach, threw my credit card down and drove the rest of the way home on my new scooter ( totally sick of the bus that day but I had wanted a scooter anyway, that just pushed me over the edge LOL I just booked an emergency job. Right now I organize homes for a living until I can get my arse back in shape and go back to personal training ( what I went to school for - so if you have any fitness or nutrition questions fee free to message me. ) A woman called and said " i have an emergency. I need an organizer ASAP. My mother in law is coming tomorrow after a very short notice and my house is a f**king mess! . LOL! So I'm off to the rescue.

LMAO. I'll get you guys a sexy jetski video some day let me get back into shape first lol. Cyborg - thanks. I somehow missed your post about your corgi and just saw it now. I'm so sorry!!! Hugs!!! It's so heart breaking just to think about someone losing their dog. My girl dog is the first dog I ever had and I got her 3 yrs ago from humane society of Miami. shes about 7. I've never loved anything in this world as much as I love her. She's everything to me. I'm going to be beyond f**ked up in the head when she passes away. I got my boy a year ago from humane society and hes 2 now. Although I love him too my girl is definitely my favorite. She's an angle, doesn't bark, doesn't need a leash ( although anywhere near a street I keep her on once because you never know if a noise may scare them into the street ) She's the good one and I take her everywhere in my doggie back pack carrier. I'm really never without her. This is going to sound totally morbid but I bought the materials to build a nice coffin for the day one of them passes away. I know that when it happens I'll be too screwed up to do it. Ive had cats and hamsters and when I bought hamsters ( 2 yr life span ) I pretty much bought a little coffin box the same day. Just easier to have that stuff tucked away than deal with it when you're crying your brains out. I loved my cats and hamsters but always wanted a boy and a girl dog and now I have them. I hope they live the full 18 yr or so lifespan that tiny dogs can. I can't travel and I can't leave my boy home more than 4 hrs alone or he freaks out ( i have a nanny cam to check in on him from my phone when im out ) my girl is fine home alone for like 12 hrs. There are two indoor doggie potties too so they never have to hold it. I bring him out with me to work or wherever if im going to be gone long. They are worth the sacrifice not being able to travel. My girl would shake the entire time in a kennel and my boy would bite the kennels workers. I love him but he's your typical duck chihuahua and only likes me. Now that concludes my caffeine induced ramble. ^^^ This came in the mail today. Seeing as how I live in Miami (where people steal bicycle break pads and bike pedals ) and you can get a scooter battery out with the removal of about 6 screws I figured this could come in handy and the floor matt goes over it. Cheap from china. Opening it today i was like " what did I order that was so heavy from China? "

Bashan Congo here, put the fuel valve anywhere you want, before the filter or after it doesn't matter.

It's better on top. It makes it easier to change components below that way.

Ya that's how I saw it Richard V. Blah I have to finish a job today. Love when they add on more work. Oh can you do this and that too? I sure can but it will cost this much and that much too Scooter is covered hoping he's not going to get neglected again. I'm definitely going to have to give him a good battery charge again. So tomorrow..... fix fuel line issue, replace tire valve stems and I should be all good for awhile.
