my new scoot is running fine.. dealer prep was dubious.. almost wonder if i could have saved myself couple hundred and had it shipped to me ... at any rate.. I'm pleased so far.. some minor issues.. expected.. but.. the horn is not working well... i cannot hear it at all.. and while my hearing is a bit poor... my last scooter horn  was quite audible.. this one .. is not.. any suggestions?... is this a *feature*

Sometimes there's an adjustment screw in the center of the horn , half turn in or out will tell if the horn is a dud,,, any auto parts store sells them very inexpensively,, but being a new new bike I wouldn't think you'd have to start buying things to repair it,,, I'd be on the horn to the dealer if it was me,,, but then I'm not afraid of a little shall I say confrontation

Pull the horn and hook up 12v DC to it. If it doesn't go off it's a bad horn. Use a car or scooter battery and the ground matters. If it's bad get an aftermarket real loud one like this:

good advice.. i will check more thoroughly... this is my afternoon project.. its really anemic sounding.. i have to listen closely to hear it..  will try the horn screw.. then check for a auto parts store horn ..gratia

You will not find a adjustment screw on the cheap horns that come on these chino scoots. Your Lucky it sounds at all

i looked for the horn.. it is placed under the steering bars.. quite inaccessible without removing the cowling..... and just feeing it .. i can sense it is a very cheap product.. so one more thing on my list.. when it warms up and i take the plastic off
