Every time I pull either brake lever the starter engages. Ended up having to disconnect the starter so it didnt do anymore damage. Has anyone else ran into this issue. I really dont want to dismantle the whole scooter trying to find one chaffed wire. Any help is greatly appreciated. I almost forgot its a 2014 GY6 50cc.

Your starter button is stuck or shorted, replace it.

I would say unplug the switch then see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away then replace the switch.

Your starter button is stuck or shorted, replace it. ^^^ Thats for sure your problem unless you have a wiring problem witch I doubt. The switch is cheap and fairly easy to replace
